Who we are

MC Change Consulting Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a UK-registered change leadership coaching and consulting business, run by Myra Clarke. If you have any questions about this notice or how we handle your data, you can reach us at myra@myraclarkecoaching.co.uk.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number C2012732.

What data we collect, and why

The Change Headroom community (hosted on Skool)

Change Headroom is a change community, hosted on the Skool platform. When you join, Skool collects your account details directly, things like your name, email address, and payment information if you join Headroom Premium. That data is handled under Skool’s own privacy policy, which you can find on their site.

What we collect and control ourselves is more limited: your posts and interactions within the community, any messages you send us directly, and, for Headroom Premiums members, notes relating to coaching support. We use this to run the community, respond to you, and improve what we offer. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interest, and contract where you’ve signed up for a paid membership.

The Energy Audit

When you complete the Energy Audit on our website, we collect your name and email address so we can follow up if you’d find that helpful. We don’t keep your audit responses themselves, only your contact details. We use this to provide the audit and, where you’ve agreed, to stay in touch about related coaching or resources. Our lawful basis is consent; you can withdraw this at any time by emailing us.

General enquiries and coaching clients

If you contact us or become a coaching client, we collect what’s needed to respond to you and deliver the work, contact details, and any relevant notes from our sessions together. Our lawful basis is contract, or legitimate interest for initial enquiries.

How long we keep it

We do not routinely retain coaching notes beyond the duration of our work together. Energy Audit contact details and community data are kept for 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them. Financial records are kept for 6 years as required by HMRC. We review and remove data we no longer need on a regular basis.

Who else sees it

We use trusted service providers to help run the business, including Skool for our community platform, a web designer and our accountant.  We don’t sell or share your data for anyone else’s marketing purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it’s wrong, to ask us to delete it, and to withdraw consent where that’s the basis we’re relying on. To exercise any of these, email myra@myraclarkecoaching.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month.

How to complain

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please email us first so we can try to put it right. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
